Changing Your Payroll E-mail Address

Periodically and throughout the year, QuickBooks Payroll needs to send you service announcements, such as when an important payroll update is released. Keep your payroll e-mail address updated to help ensure you receive these notices.

To update your payroll e-mail address in QuickBooks 2008 or 2007:

  1. From the QuickBooks Employees menu, choose My Payroll Service and then choose Account/Billing Information.
  2. On the QuickBooks Payroll — Account Maintenance page, in the Update Information section, click Edit. On the QuickBooks Payroll — Account Information page, in the Payroll Administrator section, click Edit and edit your e-mail address, and then click Continue.
  3. If applicable, update company information or payment information by clicking Edit and then Continue.
  4. When you have completed your changes, from the QuickBooks Payroll Account Information screen, click Update.
  5. Review and print the Confirmation page, and then click Done.

To update your payroll e-mail address in QuickBooks 2006:

  1. From the QuickBooks Employees menu, choose Payroll Services Activities and then choose Update Payroll Account Information.
  2. On the QuickBooks Payroll — Account Maintenance page, in the Payroll Administrator section, click Edit and edit your e-mail address, and then click Continue.
  3. If applicable, update company information or payment information by clicking Edit and then Continue.
  4. When you have completed your changes, from the QuickBooks Payroll Account Information screen, click Update.
  5. Review and print the Confirmation page, and then click Done.

To update your payroll e-mail address in QuickBooks 2005 and prior:

  1. From the QuickBooks Employees menu, choose Payroll Services and then choose View/Change Payroll Service Account Information.
  2. In the Update Information section, click Edit. From the Payroll Administrator section, click Edit and edit your e-mail address, and then click Continue.
  3. If applicable, update company information or payment information by clicking Edit and then Continue.
  4. When you have completed your changes, from the QuickBooks Payroll Account Information screen, click Update.
  5. Review and print the Confirmation page, and then click Done.

If you have opted out of receiving marketing materials, QuickBooks Payroll will use this e-mail address only to send you important announcements that are part of your QuickBooks Payroll service.
