Verify Your Contact Information
QuickBooks allows you to review and verify your contact information—including address, phone number, and e-mail address—on file with QuickBooks Payroll. Please make sure your contact information is up to date. In particular, keeping your payroll e-mail address updated will help ensure that you receive important service announcements from QuickBooks Payroll.
To verify your contact information in QuickBooks, go to Account Information.
In QuickBooks 2007:
- From the QuickBooks Employees menu, choose My Payroll Service, then select Account/Billing Information.
- Click Edit next to the information to be updated.
In QuickBooks 2006:
- From the QuickBooks Employees menu, choose Payroll Service Activities, then Update Payroll Account Information.
- Click Edit next to the information to be updated.
In QuickBooks 2005 or earlier:
- From the QuickBooks Employees menu, select Payroll Services, and then Payroll Service Account Info.
- Click Edit, and then click Continue.
- Enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN), and then click Continue.
- Click Continue until you reach the Update Contact Information screen.
- Review your information and make changes as needed.
- Click Continue until you reach the Review Your Information screen.
- In the review window, click Update.
- In the confirmation window, click Done.
- If you have not validated in the recent past you may receive a quick reminder. Click OK.
