Verify Your Contact Information

QuickBooks allows you to review and verify your contact information—including address, phone number, and e-mail address—on file with QuickBooks Payroll. Please make sure your contact information is up to date. In particular, keeping your payroll e-mail address updated will help ensure that you receive important service announcements from QuickBooks Payroll.

To verify your contact information in QuickBooks, go to Account Information.

In QuickBooks 2007:

  1. From the QuickBooks Employees menu, choose My Payroll Service, then select Account/Billing Information.
  2. Click Edit next to the information to be updated.

In QuickBooks 2006:

  1. From the QuickBooks Employees menu, choose Payroll Service Activities, then Update Payroll Account Information.
  2. Click Edit next to the information to be updated.

In QuickBooks 2005 or earlier:

  1. From the QuickBooks Employees menu, select Payroll Services, and then Payroll Service Account Info.
  2. Click Edit, and then click Continue.
  3. Enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN), and then click Continue.
  4. Click Continue until you reach the Update Contact Information screen.
  5. Review your information and make changes as needed.
  6. Click Continue until you reach the Review Your Information screen.
  7. In the review window, click Update.
  8. In the confirmation window, click Done.
  9. If you have not validated in the recent past you may receive a quick reminder. Click OK.
