Coming Soon: Assisted Tax Filings in PDF
We are constantly striving to provide you with better service, and one of the ways we do that is by listening to you and making improvements based on your feedback.
You have asked us to output your tax filings as PDF files, so that you can manage them more easily. You've also told us that storing the quarterly tax packages can be challenging. Good news! Later this year it will become much simpler.
Quarterly tax packages will soon be provided via QuickBooks, where you can save them as PDF files and print them from your own printer. PDF files make it easy for you to file, store, back up, and even send the documents to your accountant. You'll no longer have to handle the bulky printed quarterly packages.
With QuickBooks access to tax filings, you can:
- Access filings as soon as they are processed—no need to wait for mailed copies
- Save PDF copies on your computer or other electronic filing system
- Print them at your convenience
- Store, file, and back up the PDF copies electronically
- Provide the PDF copies to your accountant or bookkeeper
This means you won't have to find room in your filing cabinets for these rarely accessed forms. You'll be able to view them online for accuracy, save them, deliver them to your accountant if necessary, and then print the forms if and when you need them.
Say goodbye to wrestling with your file cabinet and your copier. Say hello to the future of tax filing copies where you'll be able to access the forms you need, when you want them, and manage it all electronically.
In QuickBooks 2006 and 2007, you can access tax filings through the View/Download Tax Forms link within the Payroll Center. In QuickBooks 2005, from the Employees menu, select Payroll Service, then View/Change Payroll Service Account Information, and then the View/Download Tax Forms link near the bottom of the page.
Note: Internet access is required to view your tax filings.
