For QuickBooks Direct Deposit Customers
How will Christmas Day (Monday, Dec. 25, 2006) and New Year's Day (Monday, Jan. 1, 2007) affect my direct deposit?

QuickBooks Payroll will not process direct deposits on Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, and Monday, Jan. 1, 2007, because of the Federal Reserve Bank's observance of the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays.

Christmas Day

If your normal paycheck date is on Dec. 25, 2006, to comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act, you should:

  1. Change your paycheck date to Friday, Dec. 22, 2006
  2. Send your payroll by 5 P.M. Pacific time on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006

For other check dates, you might need to send your direct deposit payroll a day earlier than usual, as described below:

If your normal paycheck date is on Jan. 1, 2007, to comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act, you should:

  1. Change your paycheck date to Friday, Dec. 29, 2006
  2. Send your payroll by 5 P.M. Pacific time on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006

For other check dates, you might need to send your direct deposit payroll a day earlier than usual, as described below:
